Amazon Seller API

Look up a public Amazon seller by seller ID: name, logo, rating, about text, and the products on that storefront. This is catalog data, not Seller Central orders or inventory.

Why Use This API?

Everything you need to integrate Amazon data into your application

Lookup by seller ID

Pass sellerId from a product response. Seller IDs are marketplace-specific. A seller with no active listings still returns profile fields and an empty product list.

Profile fields

name, logoUrl, phone, rating, and about, when Amazon publishes them on the seller page.

Storefront products

productResults lists the seller’s current products with ASIN, title, price, rating, and a sponsored flag, with pageInfo for the next page.

Public storefront only

This is the seller page shoppers see. It does not return Seller Central orders, inventory, or advertising reports. Those stay on Amazon’s Selling Partner API.

What Can You Build?

Here are some popular use cases for this API

1

Open the Buy Box seller behind a product you already fetched

2

List the ASINs on a competitor’s public storefront

3

Store seller name and rating next to the offers you track

Understanding the Response

Key fields returned by the API

sellerId, name

The seller id you queried and the display name on the seller page. logoUrl is included when Amazon shows a logo.

rating, phone, about

Seller rating, phone, and the About blurb, each only when Amazon publishes that field.

productResults.results

Storefront products: title, url, asin, price (symbol, value, currency, display), mainImageUrl, rating, ratingsTotal, isPrime, and sponsored.

productResults.pageInfo

currentPage, totalPages, hasNextPage, and hasPrevPage. Pass page to request another page of the storefront.

Where the seller ID comes from

Seller IDs are marketplace-specific. The product endpoint returns seller.sellerId and seller.name for the Buy Box seller when Amazon exposes a third-party seller. Offer rows include a seller id as well. Pass that id to GET /api/amazon/seller with the same domain.

The sample uses seller id A2L77EE7U53NWQ, which the API docs cite as an example (Amazon Resale on the US marketplace). A seller with no active listings returns profile fields and an empty productResults list. If the product is sold by Amazon itself, the product response may omit the seller object. There is nothing further to look up in that case.

Product details for one of those ASINs belong on the Amazon product API. This seller route does not replace Selling Partner API access to your own orders or inventory.

Pricing

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the Amazon seller API for Seller Central?

No. This Amazon seller API reads the public seller storefront: name, logo, phone, rating, about text, and listed products. Orders, inventory, and ads require Amazon Selling Partner API access on your own seller account.

How do I find a seller ID?

Request a product and read seller.sellerId on the Buy Box seller, when Amazon includes it. Seller IDs are specific to a marketplace, so use the same domain you used for the product.

What if the seller has no listings?

The API still returns the seller profile fields it can read, with an empty productResults list.

What does a request cost?

100 free requests every month, then $0.01 per request with automatic volume discounts. One key works for REST and GraphQL.
